The #wearecairns project will engage a broad cross-section of the community in the creation of art pieces, culminating in an exhibition and opening event at the Tanks Art Centre on Friday the 4th of August. It will feature a variety of visual art forms, film, music and food.
This project has been developed by Centacare Cairns and local artist Rick Beresford (aka Regular Rick).
#wearecairns is proudly funded by Multicultural Affairs Queensland and Cairns Regional Council, with additional support from Inspired Signs, Auxiliary Designs, Threadless Films and the Flying Monkey Café.

QPAC and Centacare present
Have fun, meet new people, learn new dance skills and find joy in movement and performance. We All Dance, is a collaborative workshop program led by professional dance artists.
This free program welcomes experienced dancers (all styles), new dancers, as well as people who just want to move more.
Groups in communities across the state are creating performances and will come together on 12 July for a final event, which includes performing on stage at the Munro Martin Parklands.
So jump in and get ready to dance.

Centacare offers child focused Family Dispute Resolution for parents/care-providers affected by family separation.
Family Dispute Resolution can help separated parents/care-providers reach agreement around parenting matters outside the court system.
The changing needs of children affected by family separation are the primary focus of dispute resolution at Centacare. We promote healthy family relationships; help prevent/reduce conflict, encourage agreement rather than litigation, and promote the right of all children to have meaningful relationships with both parents/care-providers.
Centacare offers a staged Family Dispute Resolution process that involves:
Engaging in Family Dispute Resolution affords opportunity for separated parents/care-providers to minimise conflict and reduce associated risks to children's emotional well-being and mental health.
Centacare offers FDR in face-to-face mode or via teleconference.
The safety and well-being of clients and staff is paramount at all times. The Practitioner will cease service if either party or practitioner believes there is a safety risk.
